Playing with a Staff of Renewal you're pretty much golden for destruction. He's very easy to play, very HARD to master, and very difficult to kill when played correctly. That being said... A good TB needs a lot of mana, a lot of HP (choose high HP items over armor), and a lot of SPEED.

And yeah, there is no cap so moving away will increase the damage dealt. Oh, and it is completely worth it to snipe someone who is teleporting away. Even if they get the teleport off... humans do not always teleport directly to the crystal, and even then, the healing crysta

The simple answer to this problem is pretty easy. If your enemy is stacking HP items you have the option to stack gloves. You can get +85 damage per attack for 7,200 gold. (take THAT mage slayer!) Add in a high +armor item, such as Platemail of the Crusader and your grand total goes up to 11,700 for enough armor and DPS to take out any stacker. Never forget that anyone who stacks is easily countered. High HP and Armor is easily beaten by doing more damage. It doesn't really matt

By your logic I am doing the same thing. Most of the games I play end up with someone on the other team leaving. You can't use people leaving this game as any evidence of lag. It's impossible to assume that these people didn't just rage quit.

http://www.geeksaresexy.net/2007/10/25/blocking-network-packets-the-comcast-fiasco/ I don't use it, but I have used them in another state. This could be causing some trouble with connections, and why some people seem to not be able to get the game to work at all even with the patching.

This went from Strategies to a suprisingly accurate list of player types. I'm impressed. A clanmate and I had a team of back door creepers the other day. They piled onto our right-lane portal when they had nothing but basics, running thru towers on both sides. They didn't bring any capture locks or teleport scrolls as they all tried to bum rush my level 11 Oak and ate Penitence before 2/3rds of them were killed by my team or our towers. Its a good thing.

Sedna is the only General who can live without her minions. They're just.... really... not great. Every time you play a general WITHOUT Priest totem minions you are passing up free healing and that's just stunting yourself.

Is this a joke post? They used Symbol of Purity or Orb of Defiance to "reflect" your Spit. They used Heart of Life to regenerate quick, and as someone of your skill level knows Sedna can regenerate health at an alarming rate of speed. She also has a Heal ability. The 1000 damage was from Pounce. Next!
They should also not be connected to you in Skirmish or Pantheon games either.
If you avoid good players then obviously you aren't very good yourself and are establishing a self-inflicted glass ceiling on your skill level. So only the black lister looses in this case. The good player avoids someone who can't keep up and the bad player never challenges himself with better enemies.

I think we need to make a public Vent server and get a community group together to host games to help newbs in the transition. I'd be willing to help all that I can. Basically what you NEED to do is get thicker skin and just deal with the "pros" and their bitching and you'll actually learn something from them. Here, this guide for SupCom tends to apply with certain things to Demigod as well. You can ignore the SupCom related stuff but a lot of the general ideas really ca

That would make it a month and 11 days I edited the post to include the correct time but I get the feeling you were being blatantly rude by insinuated a gross disregard of time on my part It was not intentional this game has just had a long and rough journey and occupies much of my gaming time t
I've already said no to other people suggesting this, and I'm gonna have to say it again. Teams must communicate. If a Sedna and another Demigod are attacking enemy towers, the Sedna needs to communicate to her ally that she has low mana, and so the ally should now be aware that he shouldn't be expecting a Heal, and should be more careful of potential ganks. Also adds a bit of skill to have to aim with your mouse on t

Why should generals have any disadvantage to any other class? Toe to toe it is pretty equal. And I believe your logic is flawed on the most powerful characters, OP. Support this facts please and this topic of discussion will have merit but until you can you're just assuming you are right based off of your experiences.
I think this should be implimented along with the conceding option. I just recently played a game where the entire other team left, but we stayed for the favor points.
That's the whole point of my idea. When the citadel is destoryed, regardless of gameplay mode, the game results in a win for the team whose Citadel still stands.

While the idea of having Demigods leave when a player concedes is all right in theory, it will just end up with a one-sided and unsatisfactory victory. Regardless of how many DGs are left on the losing team, there are still towers to push, and without any resistance that is pretty unexciting. My idea is a simple fix to the quitting problem. Citadel Self Destruct: It's a 3v3 situation on Cataract. Oak pushed all the way to the middle. The Rook is holding the left portal and Sed

Really the only way to beat Sedna is to learn the animation that comes with casting heal. Once she leans forward and the tiger crouches down it's time for your interrupt. Really the only abilities that are able to do it, due to casting time, are: Deep Freeze (TB) Foul Grasp (UB) Penitence (Oak) Pounce (Sedna) So basically if you are playing one of these characters you might be able to time it right. I've gotten it down to about 1 in every 4 or 5 casting

Trying to determine the difference between the two is quite nearly impossible unless you are experienced with the player in question.
