I only have a few wishes... For those without shelter I pray them shelter... For those without food I wish their tummies to be full... For those whom are bullied on...I wish that they find strength within themselves to stand up to the false illusions that bullies portray in order to falsely empower themselves... And please...remember...that what you post is read by anoth

You foolish chit! You gave your heart to the wrong man is all. Even the most romantic/intelligent man is a rogue deep down. There are plenty of fish in the sea...not enough "see into the fish" but you can cross that ocean when you come to it. Ela, being I'm your male alter-ego...I hope you find some pea

For the most part people GIVE here...of their talents and artistry and wordz. It's a fun place when people can communicate on a higher level (i.e. with effort to share and feel and want to truly make an effort to KNOW another soul as bland an introduction as it may be but a person is a person and a soul on the whole). It's easy to bash or flame or *jump* on someone...or to judge someone too. It shows great maturity to hold off on said sentence when someone can hold off from purposely ma

We are trying to lend our support along with some of our funky ideas or expounding on the ideas of other members here. We think that is the best we can do in a situations such as this and as one of the admins said on another thread, “We are always watching.” So as a community we are most definitely ‘heard’ and our ideas don’t go unnoticed. Right? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif"

WC tug_o_war… Admins take heed…we appreciate your valiant efforts to soothe the savage/artistic soul. Talk about a conundrum indeed! We have seen a major change implemented about walls on a skinning site no less (haha). Before it used to be a feather in one’s cap to get a wallpaper accepted into this site…now…it will most certainly be up to the rating system to determine… Now we’ve

#20 by Scribe Frogboy - 8/4/2003 8:18:53 PM Next week's poll: More or less moderation of wallpapers. That should be an interesting poll indeed. After we just got granted Apprentice by BoXXI we are kinda timid about rating something yet...even though we know it really helps when more people rate and makes it a fairer place for all... Guess we'll wait out what Frogboy imple

We can't imagine making art for a living (haha) cuz the muse seems to come and go (okay and we're not artists? ). Sometimes Jason makes up for my (Paul, that's me...the talkative one hehe) lacking but sometimes we both go through dry spells at the same time and we start driving each other crazy with the starin

#38 by MadIce - 8/2/2003 3:15:54 PM It seems that there is a new system in the making and that Frogboy will announce that soon. I have heard Jafo telling that twice. It would be a good idea to announce that sooner than later, although T-man is now on vacation so, it may take a while before it gets implemented. Sounds promising! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/sm

PS: Also a rating system such as the one we mentioned would give a skinner/artist the ability to see what needs improvement or why they might have gotten a low mark on something i.e. the color was awful but the rest of the skin was great. Some folks WILL rate a skin based on color alone and this kind of rating system would give the person a chance to rate the color but ALSO rate the rest of the skin and not JUST a single aspect of it. hmm? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/bigsm

We are (thinking) that maybe fuzzy logic is just frustrated that people have begun to rate differently than they normally would just to make up for one person's rate that was perhaps deemed inappropriate. Unfortunately this grows from lack of rates altogether...so a LOT of rates on a skin will make it much more fair in the end result than only a few rates. Hence, why popular authors often keep
